Lean times haven’t stopped travelers from pouring into New York City or hoteliers from building, including in less touristy neighborhoods like Harlem and the Financial District. Indeed, 2010’s hotel spree means visitors can look forward to more than a dozen new places to stay. New Yorkers, meanwhile, will be reaping the benefits via the latest hotel pièce de résistance: the rooftop pool lounge (five new ones and counting!).
