This deal has expired, but be sure to check out our Top 25 deals of the week for savings on trips to destinations around the globe.

Not that we needed another reason to visit Paris' super-swank, five-star Hotel Fouquet Barriere--but when we heard there was a complimentary gourmet chocolate making workshop--let's just say it sweetened the deal. In celebration of Easter, on April 13th, Pastry Chef Jean-Luc Labat will share his methods of molding and decorating Easter eggs at the hotel's restaurant, Le Diane. Labat will also demonstrate how to make a chocolate mountain, by piecing together dark, milk, and white chocolate shapes. Um, yum! Each guest that participates will receive a wooden cooking spoon, chef's hat, and apron, not to mention a satiated appetite.

A special chocolate-themed overnight Easter Package is also available, and includes:

  • One night accommodation in a luxurious room or suite
  • Special chocolate treatment at the hotel's U spa, including a chocolate-based body scrub, massage with chocolate and mango butter and an edible treat
  • Daily continental breakfast
  • Lunch or dinner for two at the renowned Fouquet's restaurant
  • VIP welcome amenities

The Easter Package is valid from April 10 to 13, 2009, and rates (based on double occupancy) start at $1,105 for a Superior room.
