Theatre Queens, listen up (yes, we did spell "theatre" with an “re”): if you’ve always wanted to see your favorite Broadway shows with a British accent, West End Theatre has a sale just for you.

Available from now till as late as September 30, visitors who buy a top-tier ticket to a selection of shows get a free room (with breakfast) at either the Travelodge Kings Cross  or Travelodge Waterloo, both 3-star properties in central London and the latter newly opened this July. Savings hover in the $140 range. Available shows include the Tony award-winning musical Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace, Dirty Dancing at the Aldwych, Hair: The Musical at the Gielgund, Queen jukebox clap-a-long We Will Rock You, plus audience faves Jersey Boys, Sister Act, Sweet Charity, Chicago, Dreamboats and Petticoats, Grease: The Musical, All the Fun of the Fair, and last but not least, Blood Brothers.

Prices start at only £50 (roughly $80) per person and are based on double occupancy. Upgrades to 4- or 5-star properties available from £15 and £40, respectively. (Reviews are mixed for the Travelodge brand; instead try to choose one of our expertly reviewed London hotels.)

See WestEndTheatre.com’s “Free Hotel Offer” to book. Be sure to read the fine print of which show you want to see. Valid performances vary and mostly include weekday night and matinees; only a select few offer weekend tickets. “Free” rooms at some (such as Billy Elliot), actually require a £5 surcharge.
