Each summer and fall, countless travelers flock to Europe to enjoy the continent's stunning coastal cities, fairytale-worthy small towns, and gorgeous stretches of sand. Whether you're craving a vibrant nightlife scene or a more under-the-radar oceanfront escape, Europe offers something for every type of traveler. All this to say, we see a Europe trip in your (very) near future.

Not sure where to go? Consider island-hopping your way through Greece, starting first in Athens, where you can tour ancient sites like the Acropolis and the Parthenon before settling down for a meal featuring fresh-caught fish and spanakopita.

Meanwhile, those craving even more adventure with a side of arts and culture can — and should — head straight to Amsterdam. Enjoy scenic bike rides along the winding canals and visits to some of the world's best museums: all followed by a feast of Stroopwafels and Dutch pancakes. Or, head out to the nearby countryside and savor some signature Dutch cheese.

Alternatively, a trip to Spain is always a good idea. Make Barcelona your home base for exploring and bure to carve out enough time to stroll Las Ramblas and eat your way through the city's many Michelin-starred restaurants. Or, live out la dolce vita in Italy. Warm summer days spent wandering through Rome — while noshing on fresh pasta, sipping on wine or an Aperol Spritz, and touring the ancient city's most iconic attractions — are truly magical. Oh, and don't forget to try a scoop (or three) of gelato while you're in town.

Now that you have some serious summer travel inspiration, it's time to start thinking about Europe airfare.

Sure, you’ve likely seen, heard of — or even flown — premium economy before, but KLM Royal Dutch Airlines' new Premium Comfort class offers an even more elevated experience beyond basic economy: albeit for a fraction of the price of business class. For example, one-way business class flights from New York to Barcelona this summer can cost upwards of $3,000, while one-way Premium Comfort class flights on the same route were priced just over $1,300 in August and a little over $1,100 in September.

The debut of Premium Comfort Class embodies a new KLM Royal Dutch Airlines experience complete with amazing A-List-worthy perks (think: SkyPriority privileges, more-spacious seats with extra legroom, ample overhead storage space, three meals, a curated selection of liquor, and your very own personal amenity kit) so that you can make the most of your journey through the skies. Then, you'll be able to hit the ground, well-rested, rejuvenated, and ready to run.
