Scenic Amber launched in 2016 as the latest of Scenic's Space Ships. Like sister ships Scenic Jasper and Scenic Opal, the 169-passenger Scenic Amber feels very spacious with two complete decks of staterooms with balconies plus a number of features not always found on river vessels, from a top-deck pool to multiple restaurants ranging from casual cafés to an exclusive chef's table.
Gourmet Dining: It's rare for a river ship to have more than one restaurant, while Scenic Amber has six. Linger over a five-course Italian pairing menu at the more formal Portobellos, order à la carte at the open seating Crystal Dining room, or have lunch at the Riverview Terrace on the top deck.
24/7 Room Service: Need a midnight snack? Treats from the room service menu can be delivered by your butler all night long. Minibars can also be personalized with your favorite drinks and snacks, and are replenished generously.
Tours for All Tempos: Shore excursions are available for all speeds, whether it's taking a rigorous bike ride in Melk or just relaxing in the thermal baths in Budapest.
Spacious Suites: Scenic’s suites are some of the largest on the market, with the Royal Panorama Suite measuring 475 square feet. The custom-designed Scenic Sun Lounge makes the room feel even grander, showing off prime views of the water from all angles.
Cruisers Who Have Been There, Done That: Despite their age (a young-for-river-cruises 40s and onward), most of these passengers have trotted the globe a few times.
There Is a Class System: Everyone receives special treatment on board (including a personal butler), but higher decks are privy to even more exclusive perks. The main highlight: a golden ticket invite to dine with the executive chef at Table La Rive for a six-course dégustation menu.
