Retail discounts and/or shipboard credits

If splurging on jewelry, apparel, or other gifts from a ship's retail boutique(s) is a part of every cruise you take, then this is another reason to rack up loyalty. Discounts vary by line but can be as high as 30%. Another way the cruise line thanks you for continually choosing them is through shipboard credits in amounts such as $50 or $100 (so, essentially, splurging on a bottle of wine or tacking more minutes onto your massage is now on them).
