Ballyseede Castle
Featuring 30 acres of private gardens and serene woodlands, an opulent oak staircase in the lobby, and stunning drawing rooms complete with cornices and marble fireplaces, a stay at Ballyseede Castle feels like a step back in time. While the County Kerry estate dates all the way back to 1590, the main castle wasn’t built until 1721. More than 300 years later, the castle has retained its historic charm — though there are also a handful of new(ish) additions, including three bars and restaurants.
